The History of Fort George

The tour lasts for about 90 minutes outside, with some indoor portions. Since the tour is in the evening, dress for the weather as it can get chilly.
Tours depart at 8:30 pm during the summer. After the September long weekend, tours are available Sundays at 7:30 pm.

Halloween Ghost Tours
Special Halloween ghost tours operate on weekends in October, with extra days on October 30 and October 31. This tour also goes inside the Soldier’s Barracks and the Officer’s Quarters.
These tours are available Friday to Sunday, with tours departing at 7 pm and 7:30 pm, with additional tours at 10 pm and 10:30 pm.
Ghost Tours at Fort George Tickets
Tickets for Ghost Tours at Fort George costs $20 during their normal operating season, and $25 for their Halloween Ghost Tours.

Summer tickets are eligible for refunds if requested at least 2 weeks in advance. If your plans change within 2 weeks, you can reschedule your booking. In the event of cancellation, a $10 fee will be applied.
Tips for Visitors
If you are planning to visit Fort George and participate in the ghost tour, there are a few things you should keep in mind. Firstly, make sure you wear comfortable clothes and shoes as the tour involves a lot of walking. Also, bring a flashlight as the fort can get quite dark at night.
